CORVETTE DEBUTS AT THE VICENZA CLASSIC CAR SHOW: AMERICAN TRADITION AND HYBRID TECHNOLOGY ON DISPLAY

The American sports car takes center stage at the Fiera di Vicenza

For the first time, Corvette will participate in the Vicenza Classic Car Show, the event dedicated to collecting and motoring culture scheduled from March 27 to 29, 2026, at the Fiera di Vicenza. The American brand, together with Gruppo Cavauto, will bring two models to the event that represent the evolution of the famous U.S. sports car: the new Corvette E-Ray Convertible and the Corvette Stingray Coupé.

The presence at the Vicenza show marks a significant debut for the brand, which for over 70 years has been one of the most recognizable symbols of American sports motoring. With a long history in endurance racing and an identity strongly linked to high performance, Corvette continues to push the limits of technology and design today.

Corvette: Between history and performance records

Throughout its history, Corvette has become a true global icon, capable of combining sporting tradition and technological innovation. The brand continues to demonstrate its competitiveness today: with the ZR1X model, Corvette holds the record as the fastest American brand on the Nürburgring circuit, one of the most demanding tracks in the world.

Participation in the Vicenza Classic Car Show aims to tell the story of this evolution, showing the public both the most innovative soul of the brand and the one linked to the tradition of great V8 engines.

Corvette E-Ray: The first hybrid Corvette

Among the cars on display will be the Corvette E-Ray, a model that marks a historic moment for the brand. It is, in fact, the first hybrid Corvette ever produced, as well as the first equipped with e-AWD intelligent all-wheel drive.

The system combines the classic 482 hp naturally aspirated V8 with a 162 hp e-Boost electric motor, reaching a total power of 644 hp. This configuration allows for high-level performance, with a 0-100 km/h in 2.9 seconds and a top speed of 291 km/h.

At the Vicenza Classic Car Show, a Convertible version in Riptide Blue Metallic livery will be exhibited, featuring the 3LZ trim, Magnetic Selective Ride Control suspension, GT2 sports seats in Nappa leather with a carbon shell, a 14-speaker Bose Performance Series audio system, and regenerative carbon-ceramic brakes.

Corvette Stingray: The timeless charm of the V8

Alongside the hybrid novelty, the public will also be able to admire one of the most representative Corvettes of the current range: the Stingray.

Considered the most accessible version and, at the same time, one of the most beloved by enthusiasts, the Stingray embodies the essence of the American sports car thanks to its 6.2-liter naturally aspirated V8 engine with 482 hp.

The model on display will be a Stingray Coupé in Hypersonic Gray, with 3LT trim. The interior, enriched with aluminum and carbon inserts, is designed to offer a combination of sportiness, comfort, and craftsmanship.

Corvette: Between collecting and the future of the automobile

The presence of the American brand fits perfectly into the context of the Vicenza Classic Car Show, an event that combines a passion for collecting with a focus on the technological evolution of the automobile.

The Corvettes on display represent not only high-performance sports cars but also “instant classics” destined to win over enthusiasts and tell the story of the brand’s new phase, increasingly oriented toward innovative solutions without giving up its identity.
