Modena returns as the capital of motoring with the Motor Valley Fest 2026

Four days dedicated to innovation and automotive culture

From May 28 to 31, Modena will host the eighth edition of the Motor Valley Fest 2026, an event that transforms the heart of the Emilian city into a large open-air laboratory dedicated to the mobility of the future, the motor industry, and technological innovation.
For four days, the city of the Ghirlandina will welcome over 50 appointments including international conferences, meetings with companies, widespread exhibitions, dynamic events, shows, and activities dedicated to young talents. A program that will involve more than 200 international speakers and the main protagonists of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley.

The future of automotive at the center of the debate

The heart of the festival will be represented by the conference program scheduled for May 28 and 29, when institutions, managers, universities, and companies will discuss the major changes that are redefining the automotive sector.
Officially opening the event will be the Opening Conference at the Storchi Theater, dedicated to the new scenarios of global mobility spanning artificial intelligence, digitalization, energy sustainability, and human responsibility.
Great anticipation also surrounds the Motor Valley Top Table, the panel that will bring together the top executives of the leading companies representing Emilian motoring excellence: Ferrari, Lamborghini, Maserati, Pagani, Ducati, and Dallara will discuss electrification, autonomous driving, software-defined vehicles, and advanced manufacturing.

Supercars and tradition in the heart of the city

One of the symbolic moments of the festival will be the traditional ribbon-cutting ceremony at the Military Academy of Modena, accompanied by the opening of the Best of Motor Valley, an exhibition that will bring supercars, iconic motorcycles, and historic cars from the brands that made Emilia-Romagna famous worldwide to the city center.
Modena will thus become a widespread museum dedicated to the passion for motors, with parades, rallies, and experiences that will involve the entire Motor Valley territory.

Space for youth and training

Ample space will also be dedicated to the new generations and the dialogue between industry and education. At the San Carlo College Theater, the Talent Talks of the Innovation & Talent format will take place, featuring meetings dedicated to students and young professionals interested in the mobility professions of the future.
Representatives from the main car and motorcycle manufacturers will alternate on stage alongside universities, academies, and companies involved in technological innovation processes.
In Piazza Grande, the university teams of Formula SAE will also take center stage, an international engineering design competition that will bring prototypes developed by students from various Italian universities to Modena.

An event that strengthens the international role of the Motor Valley

The Motor Valley Fest thus confirms itself as one of the most important events for the European automotive sector, capable of uniting industry, research, culture, and tourism into a single major widespread event.
The 2026 edition aims to further strengthen the international profile of the Emilia-Romagna Motor Valley, a territory that continues to represent a global benchmark for design, speed, and technological innovation applied to motors.
