#RUBRICAR MARCH 2026: THE COMPLETE COLLECTORS’ CALENDAR BETWEEN PASSION AND HERITAGE

Welcome to the second appointment of #Rubricar, the monthly guide dedicated to vintage car and motorcycle events, born from the synergy between @vintaagecar, @epocar.official, collezionismoauto.it, and our international version thecarcollecting.com. The month of March 2026 officially marks the awakening of historic motoring: the days are getting longer, temperatures are turning milder, and garages across Italy are beginning to open to release icons of the past and youngtimers with timeless charm.

In this issue, we will take you on a journey across the Peninsula, region by region, to discover where to make your heart (and engine) beat. From Lombard tracks to charity rallies in Piedmont, and historical reenactments in Sicily, March promises to be a month of extraordinary cultural and technical dynamism.

Piedmont: Between Solidarity and Grand Salons

Piedmont opens the month with a strong emphasis on charity and exhibition culture. On March 15, Alessandria will host the 7th In Vespa x la Vita, organized by @popolovespistasezioneAlessandria. A touching event in memory of Luciano Grassi and Cristina Antoni, with proceeds supporting the Alessandria Hospital. Moving to the shores of Lake Maggiore, the weekend of March 14-15 will feature Stresa Classica, curated by @milanohistoriccarsclub: a concours d’elegance where the beauty of automotive lines is mirrored in the lake’s waters.

The main course for lovers of variety is the Auto, Moto, Turin Show (AMTS) in Turin, from March 27 to 29. Spanning over 80,000 square meters, the @amts_torino event masterfully mixes supercars, JDM icons, and American muscle cars. For those who prefer a convivial routine, Turin offers the weekly gathering of @quellideltoret every Sunday in Corso Stati Uniti, a staple for vintage cars and youngtimers up to ’99.

Liguria and Lombardy: Adrenaline and Tradition

In Liguria, the focus is entirely on regularity and the great classics. On March 22, Marina Aeroporto (GE) will host the race organized by @veterancarclubligure, while from March 26 to 29, the legend lives on with the Milano-Sanremo by @coppamilanosanremo. An epic passage that will touch Rapallo and Genoa before crossing the finish line in the City of Flowers.

Lombardy responds with a diverse offering. It starts on March 1 at the Tazio Nuvolari Circuit in Cervesina with ASI in Pista Spring Experience, an exclusive track day for historic and competition cars. On March 14-15, the Novegro Exhibition Park pulses again with Auto Collection, a unique mix of classics and tuning. Finally, on March 22, @specialstages_official launches the Valli Lombarde Tour, a scenic rally starting from Stresa that will test the dynamic qualities of sports cars and supercars.

Emilia Romagna and Veneto: The Heart of Motoring

Emilia Romagna confirms its role as “Motor Valley.” A major season opener is Automotoretrò in Parma on March 7-8, a show that needs no introduction. Ferrara will be the gravitational center for regularity with two events by @officinaferrarese_young: Destra, Sinistra, Po on March 1, and the prestigious Valli e Nebbie (March 20-22), which combines timed trials with cultural moments like an Andy Warhol exhibition. In Piacenza, the new spontaneous gathering by @epocar.official also debuts in Via Maculani.

In Veneto, the Vicenza Classic Car Show (March 27-29) promises an immersive experience between history and engines. For those seeking a more convivial atmosphere, the Circuito del Pozzo will be held on March 29 in San Giovanni Lupatoto, while on March 13-14 in Treviso, @motoclubcialtroni celebrates 30 years of kilometers and friendship with Cialtrò’Fest.

Tuscany and Central Italy: Hills and Curves

Tuscany celebrates March 8th with Chi “Vespa”, a women’s rally in Fucecchio, before moving to the large static event Car Meet in the Park in Lucca on March 15. Lovers of the “Eagle” brand cannot miss the 1st Moto Guzzi Terre di Pisa Rally in Pontedera (March 27-29). In Florence, the fixed Sunday appointment at Piazzale Michelangelo remains.

In Umbria, Terni celebrates Valentine’s Day with the 26th Fiat 500 Rally on March 8, while Perugia gets muddy on March 29 with the Motocavalcata degli Etruschi. In the Marche, Arcevia hosts the XIII Moto Blessing on March 1, while Pesaro confirms itself as an active square for youngtimers with the gatherings of Le Rombanti. On March 15, Abruzzo will see the “mechanics of emotions” on parade with the Alfa Romeo Rally in Popoli Terme, limited to 15 highly selected cars.

Lazio and Southern Italy: Signature Meetings

Lazio is dominated by Roman gatherings: from the Ostia seafront with 00122 Motori (March 1) to the classic Sunday appointments at Piazzale Ankara and the Meet & Breakfast at EUR (March 22), the latter curated by our partners @vintaagecar and @car_lovers_eur. In Campania, the Vespa Club Maddaloni celebrates women on March 8 with a dedicated event. Puglia and Sardinia keep the Sunday tradition alive in Lecce (Porta Napoli) and Sassari (Piazzale Segni), respectively.

Sicily: Island Passion

Sicily offers an extraordinary March. It begins with Racconti al Palmento in Marzamemi (March 14-15), followed by the Segesta Historic Rally on March 15, a tribute to the Targa Florio with 40 selected cars. The month closes with the 1st Audax Taormina (March 27-28), a 300 km adventure for 120 Vespa riders between Etna and the Nebrodi mountains. In Ragusa, Piazza Libertà remains the safe harbor for Sunday rallies.

Regions on Stand-by
