THREE LEGENDARY LE MANS FERRARIS TO STAR AT ANANTARA CONCORSO ROMA 2026

Icons of the Prancing Horse in the heart of the Capital

Three Ferraris that have written some of the most important pages in the history of the 24 Hours of Le Mans will be among the protagonists of the first edition of Anantara Concorso Roma, scheduled to take place in the Capital from April 16 to 19, 2026. The event will celebrate the best of Italian motoring with an extraordinary display of approximately seventy historic cars, gathered between Casina Valadier and Piazza Bucarest, in the heart of the Villa Borghese gardens.

Organized by Anantara Hotels & Resorts and presented by UBS, the competition promises to become one of the new benchmark appointments for collectors and enthusiasts, combining automotive design, luxury hospitality, and gastronomy in the spirit of the Roman dolce vita.

Three Ferraris symbolic of Le Mans

Standing out among the most anticipated cars is a trio of Ferrari models representing three different eras of motorsport: the 250 LM, the 275P, and the modern 499P.

The Ferrari 250 LM, one of the most iconic cars in the brand’s history, achieved overall victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in 1965. Campaigned by the North American Racing Team (NART), it remains one of the very few privateer Ferraris to have triumphed in the famous French race.

Alongside it, the Ferrari 275P will be on display. An evolution of the 250 P, it was the protagonist of a memorable season. The chassis that won Le Mans in 1963 was subsequently updated to 275P specifications and returned to triumph in the French classic again in 1964, marking a historic moment for Italian motorsport.

Representing the present of the Maranello house will be the Ferrari 499P, a hybrid prototype with a V6 engine developed for the Hypercar category. This model brought Ferrari back to the top step of the Le Mans podium in 2023, inaugurating a new era of success that culminated in three consecutive victories between 2023 and 2025.

A competition dedicated to Italian automotive excellence

The first edition of Anantara Concorso Roma will bring together some of the finest examples of Italian automobiles ever built. The exhibition, originally planned only for the suggestive setting of Casina Valadier, has been expanded to include Piazza Bucarest, creating an exhibition route immersed in the greenery of Villa Borghese.

Each car will tell a story of technical innovation, style, and passion, offering visitors a journey through decades of Italian automotive design excellence.

The event program

Activities will begin on Wednesday, April 15, with exclusive events dedicated to guests and collectors, including private city tours and luxury shopping sessions. On the evening of April 16, a welcome reception is scheduled on the panoramic terrace of the Anantara Palazzo Naiadi Rome Hotel.

The following day, the Giro d’Anantara will kick off—a parade of historic cars starting from Piazza della Repubblica to cross some of the city’s most evocative streets. The day will conclude with a special dinner at Casina Valadier.

Saturday, April 18, will be the central moment of the competition: the cars will be examined by the jury while the owners participate in a champagne reception and an exclusive lunch. The evening will culminate with a Gala Dinner at the historic Palazzo Brancaccio.

On Sunday, April 19, the exhibition will open to the public once again, before the final awards ceremony which will present class honors and the prestigious Best of Show title.

Postponed in 2025 and expanded over the last year, Anantara Concorso Roma was born with the ambition of becoming a reference point in the international calendar of concours d’elegance.
