VICENZA CLASSIC CAR SHOW 2026: THE LOTUS EMIRA V6 TAKES CENTER STAGE AT THE SPRING FAIR

From March 27 to 29, the Vicenza Fair returns as the reference point for engine enthusiasts with the third edition of the Vicenza Classic Car Show. The event, dedicated to historic and sporting motoring, promises three days full of excitement, featuring iconic models from the past alongside some interesting innovations of the present. Among the most anticipated attractions is the premiere of the Lotus Emira V6, a model representing the latest interpretation of analog driving according to the British manufacturer’s tradition.

A show that combines tradition and innovation

The event, scheduled from Friday, March 27 to Sunday, March 29, 2026, will take place in the pavilions of the Vicenza Fair, organized by the Italian Exhibition Group. Over the years, the event has consolidated its role in the landscape of fairs dedicated to vintage and sports cars. However, the 2026 edition introduces an important evolution in the format. Alongside historic vehicles, the public will also be able to discover some innovations from the contemporary automotive scene. The goal is to create a true meeting point between heritage and innovation, capable of telling the story of the evolution of automotive passion across generations.

Lotus Emira V6: the return of analog driving

Among the main novelties of the event will be the Lotus Emira V6, presented as a premiere to the public of the Vicenza Classic Car Show. The model represents a symbol for the most purist enthusiasts: a sports car designed to offer an authentic driving experience, in line with the Lotus tradition. The car ideally picks up the legacy of Colin Chapman, founder of the brand and promoter of the philosophy of lightness and essentiality. In this sense, the Emira V6 is considered a sort of manifesto for classic sports driving, destined to mark the end of an era characterized by internal combustion engines.

Performance and design of the new Lotus sports car

The Lotus Emira V6 is equipped with a 3.5-liter supercharged V6 engine capable of delivering 406 horsepower. The engine is paired with a standard six-speed manual gearbox, a choice that strengthens the link with the tradition of the purest sports driving. Performance is top-tier: the car accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.3 seconds. The project focuses on a balance between power, lightness, and driving precision—elements that have always characterized Lotus cars. Design also plays a central role. Aerodynamic lines, sculpted air intakes, and a strong visual impact contribute to making the Emira a scenic presence of great character. The exhibited model will be visible at the Trivellato Srl stand, in one of the fifteen available colors and with handcrafted interior finishes.

A journey through Lotus history

The Trivellato stand will also offer visitors a journey through the brand’s history. Alongside the new Emira, several iconic cars will be on display. Among these stands out a first-series Lotus Elise, a light and essential 120-horsepower model that defined an era. The name Elise comes from the granddaughter of Romano Artioli, who as a child sat in the first Elise presented at the 1995 Frankfurt Motor Show. Completing the exhibition will also be a Lotus Evora, the elegant and powerful predecessor to the Emira, together with other historic models that recount the brand’s evolution between sportiness and innovation.

Tickets, hours, and useful information

Presales for the Vicenza Classic Car Show are already open on the event’s official website. The fair will be open to the public on Friday 27, Saturday 28, and Sunday 29 March, with continuous hours from 9:30 AM to 7:00 PM at the Vicenza exhibition center, in via Oreficeria 16. The facility is easily accessible by car, located about 400 meters from the Vicenza Ovest exit of the A4 Venice–Milan motorway, with ample parking available. Vicenza is also connected to the Venice–Milan railway line. Admission is free for people with disabilities and one accompanying person, while dogs are allowed on a leash and, for medium-large sizes, also with a muzzle.
